"Quite a number of the 1839 edition were bound up with the 1832 title page, so if the book has the picture of the state house and the author, it is pretty sure to be the 1839 edition. The remainder of the book, in sheets, was sold to some bookseller in Cornhill, Drake, I believe, although it might have been George Littlefield, and in binding them up, they used any title page they could find."--A.J. Huston, bookseller, in a letter dated July 7th, 1936
